Estimate
Our estimate price is an approximation based on available info—not a final guarantee. Final cost may adjust for updated measurements, site issues, scope changes, or hidden problems. Additional work requires a new written estimate (referencing the original) and your approval before we proceed. Estimates valid 30 days from "Sent On" date. We may revise if material prices, availability, or scope change. Work starting >30 days after acceptance may trigger a price review. Multi-stage projects may include a payment schedule; pay each stage within 3 business days or we may pause later stages.

Deposit & Scheduling
Pay the deposit on your estimate to book your spot and start work. We'll confirm a start date after acceptance/deposit. You can share preferences in writing. Full refund if you cancel >14 days before start. Cancellations ≤14 days apply the deposit to fees in Section 3.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Site Readiness
Client Cancellations: 14–7 days before start: $600 fee. <7 business days: $1,200 fee. If special materials ordered: + material/restocking costs. After work starts: All costs to date + $1,200 fee.

Client Rescheduling: >10 business days no fee. <10 and >5 business days before: $250 fee. <5 business days: $600 fee.

Spray-Tech Rescheduling/Postponement: We may reschedule for weather, equipment, staffing, safety, or unforeseen issues—no liability for your costs. We'll notify you ASAP and reschedule. Site not ready: Standby $150/hr (max 2 hrs) or $1,200 trip charge + reschedule if >2 hrs needed.

Force Majeure (disasters, strikes, etc.): We'll reschedule or settle fairly. Notify in writing within 48 hrs with details and new timeline. Both sides must minimize delays.

Jobsite Requirements

Spray Foam Specifics: Clear 6 ft around spray areas (we may move items; no liability for minor damage—you indemnify us). Heat space to 15°C for 48 hrs pre-work (no propane—causes issues). Substrate >5°C, clean/dry. Ventilation: Aim for 0.3 air changes/hr for 24 hrs (per Ontario Building Code). Thermal barrier: Your responsibility post-install (e.g., drywall). Off-gassing: Vacate (people/pets) during spray + 25 hrs minimum after (or as advised). Unsafe/non-compliant site: We may halt/postpone; you pay delays/fees.

Blown Insulation: Clear attics/pathways. Expect settling dust—you handle light cleanup.

Final Payment
Balance due on completion (or per schedule). Invoice within 2 business days. Late payments: 2%/month interest (24% annual). Methods: Cash, e-transfer, certified cheque (to "Spray-Tech Insulation"), direct deposit, Jobber, credit (<$10K), bank draft. >$25K: Certified cheque/bank draft may be required.

Manufacturer's Warranty: All materials covered by manufacturer's terms (details on request).

Spray-Tech Labour Warranty: 1 year from install date. We'll repair/replace defective workmanship (at our cost) if within original scope.

Warranty Conditions: We decide if defect exists and remedy needed. Full payment required before warranty activates. Requires your full compliance with all terms (jobsite). No coverage for: your/3rd-party damage, environmental factors, settling, normal wear.

Liability & Indemnity
No liability for indirect/consequential damages, pre-existing issues, your/3rd-party actions, or factors beyond our control. Max liability = contract price. Off-gassing claims: You release us if you re-enter too soon. You indemnify us for your non-compliance or 3rd-party claims.

Governing Law
Ontario/Canada laws apply. The estimate + our terms and conditions you sign is the full agreement—no oral changes. Invalid parts don't affect the rest.
